About Us

Home of the Falcons! 28th Street Elementary School serves over 600 students from a diverse backgrounds in grades ETK to 5th grade. We are located in the corner of 28th Street and San Pedro Avenue, in South Los Angeles, and is part of the Jefferson/South Central Community of Schools. Our teachers are highly trained professionals who come from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds, as does the rest of our school community. I cannot be prouder of the students, staff, and families of our community. Not only is 28th Street dedicated to providing a well-rounded educational experience of all children, but also we are equally dedicated to creating an environment where all fee welcomed and valued.

Summer school at 28th St.

There are exciting programs that will be available this summer for students.
Academic summer programs will be offered for students who are currently in Universal Transitional Kindergarten (UTK) through 12th Grade. To register, visit the school’s main office for an application.
